SAN FRANCISCO -- With a wealth of technology and resources out there, it's never been easier to start a business. But startup founders and CEOs have one big challenge standing in their way: It's easier for everybody to start a business, so they need to differentiate themselves or else they will fail.
Ludovic Ulrich, head of startup relations at Salesforce, talked at Dreamforce 2015 about the cloud CRM company's startup strategy, namely in how the company plans to help fledgling businesses be agile and set up their technological infrastructure. For Ulrich, it's important to get a sense of which of Salesforce's products are the best fit for the startup depending on how mature the company is.
Ulrich discussed Salesforce's Startup Summit, a new addition to Dreamforce that featured product-agnostic sessions designed to serve startups and entrepreneurs, as well as speaking about how startups can take advantage of the Internet of Things. "Behind every sensor or device is a customer," Ulrich said. "How do you manage those interactions?"
