Brief: NetLedger tacks on lead tracking tool

NetLedger's new Marketing ROI Manager tracks leads from the start of a campaign through to the billing process.

Hosted CRM provider NetLedger, San Mateo, Calif., is enhancing its marketing capabilities with the release of a new tool for tracking campaigns from lead generation through to customer billing.

Marketing ROI Manager integrates the source of a lead with customer billing and purchase information. It also gives finance, sales, marketing and management a view of marketing campaign costs, results and returns through a real-time dashboard.

As it has with previous releases, NetLedger is emphasizing the fact that it blends its CRM and accounting software in a single system, making it easier to follow leads beyond the sales cycle.

Marketing ROI Manager measures the campaigns and media that have the highest conversion rates, as well as the e-mail lists and search engine key words that perform best, NetLedger said. It also gauges pricing and product promotions that resulted in the most sales.

Marketing ROI Manager is available immediately and will be included free with NetLedger's hosted software.

The release comes just one month after NetLedger introduced a new calculator, called the Sales Compensation Manager, that tallies current and projected commissions for sales staff.
