Salesforce.com reports big ROI for Fujitsu
San Francisco-based online CRM provider Saesforce.com reported that one of its customers, Fujitsu Technology Solutions Inc., has recognized a return on investment (ROI) of 750% using the company's sales force automation tools. A Salesforce.com customer since April 2001, Fujitsu estimates it has saved $75,000 per year on application costs and $415,000 annually by reducing systems maintenance staffing expenses. Fujitsu also claims savings of $640,000 annually on time and resources formerly spent on data gathering and maintenance.
Trillium gains Siebel validation
Trillium Software, Billerica, Mass., announced that integration between its Trillium Software System Version 6 and Siebel 7 eBusiness Applications has been validated by Siebel Systems Inc, San Mateo, Calif. The Trillium product is used to inspect the condition of customers' data, enforce custom business rules and identify relationships between entities. Under the deal, the two firms contend that customers of Siebel Systems and Trillium Software can ensure global data quality.
Aspect Communications wins Sabre deal
San Jose, Calif.-based Aspect Communications Corp. reported its Enterprise Contact Server was selected by Sabre, a travel technology, distribution and marketing services provider. Sabre said it would use Aspect's technology to support customers over multiple communication channels. Aspect said the tool would enable Sabre to better leverage the skills of customer service representatives by more intelligently matching customer communications to them regardless of channel.
