The Siebel-Pitney Bowes alliance and the E.piphany-Genesys pairing are two new partnerships in the CRM space this week.

Pitney Bowes joins Siebel alliance program

San Mateo, Calif.-based CRM vendor Siebel Systems Inc. reported that postage specialists Pitney Bowes Inc., Stamford, Conn. joined its Siebel Alliance Program as a strategic partner. Under the agreement, the two companies will co-market software and integrate technology to help joint customers utilize the information contained in their mail, document and messaging processes. The firms said they foresee major opportunities in the automated mail channel helping businesses to better manage customer relationships.



E.piphany and Genesys team

Analytics software maker E.piphany Inc., San Mateo, Calif., and Genesys Telecommunications Laboratories Inc., San Francisco, announced that E.piphany has joined Genesys' Interacts Partner Program. With support from Genesys, E.piphany will provide a pre-packaged integration between its E.piphany E.6 customer service applications and Genesys' Suite 6 contact center solutions. The companies claim the combined solution enables customers to route customer inquiries along with relevant data directly, leading to more knowledgeable and personalized customer interactions.



FinanCenter lands H&R Block deal

Financial software specialists FinanCenter Inc., Tucson, Ariz., won a deal with tax advisors H&R Block Inc., Kansas City, Mo., to provide consumer personal finance analysis and educational tools via the H&R Block Web site. The site is designed to enable H&R Block clients to better understand tax, mortgage and savings situations by providing self-help tools.


Eagle Email wins Philadelphia Zoo deal

Willow Grove, Pa.-based e-mail marketing tool vendor Eagle Email was named exclusive e-mail services provider for the Philadelphia Zoo. America’ first zoo, founded in 1859, the Philadelphia Zoo chose Eagle Email to launch a new customer relationship management program targeted at its members. In addition, Eagle Email and technology partner Pliner Solutions assumed responsibility for the Philadelphia Zoo Web site.
