BMC and Siebel expand alliance

Enterprise management software maker BMC Software Inc., Houston, has bolstered its partnership with CRM vendor Siebel Systems Inc., San Mateo, Calif. Under the agreement, BMC Software becomes a strategic software partner in the Siebel Alliance Program. BMC Software will provide availability and performance offerings designed specifically for use with Siebel's e-business applications on multiple platforms.

Revenio lands Analog Devices deal

Revenio Inc., Burlington, Mass., reported that chip equipment maker Analog Devices Inc., Norwood, Mass., selected its Revenio Dialog software platform to deploy marketing applications. The Revenio product enables marketers to design and manage personalized customer "dialogs" with customers to be orchestrated across various communications channels. Analog Devices is also leveraging the platform to reach engineers, using automated dialogs to help them build prototypes.

UN Summit to use Commence RM offering

Software maker Commence Corp., Oakhurst, N.J., reported that the United Nations World Summit on the Information Society, New York, is deploying the firm's Commence Relationship Management offering to centralize information about global attendees and events. Using Commence RM, the organization will also centralize information to manage the various working groups associated with the Summit preparations, and track the individual and collective calendars of members worldwide.


SAS and Entigo partner for SAP customers

Cary, N.C.-based analytics software specialists SAS Institute is joining with e-business software maker Entigo Corp. to deliver a collaborative warranty system to customers of enterprise applications provider SAP. The warranty claims management and analysis product offering from SAS and Entigo targets manufacturers using SAP. It promises to streamline warranty management processes, improve warranty cost forecasting, and reduce customers' financial exposure to warranty issues, the companies said.

Callidus Software wins MSD Sharp & Dohme bid

Incentive management software vendor Callidus Software Inc., San Jose, Calif., announced the addition of pharmaceutical company MSD Sharp & Dohme in Munich, Germany, as a new global customer for its TrueComp product. MSD Sharp & Dohme is implementing the platform to accommodate growth and variable compensation programs. Callidus aims to reduce processing time and administrative costs, while increasing the accuracy of incentive payments.
