E.piphany lands Harley-Davidson, Burlington Coat Factory deals

San Mateo, Calif.-based analytics software maker E.piphany Inc. recently announced deals to provide applications to motorcycle maker Harley-Davidson Inc., Milwaukee, and retail clothing outlet Burlington Coat Factory Warehouse Corp., Burlington, N.J. Harley-Davidson is implementing the company's contact center software to streamline service and support for its dealers and consumers. For its part, Burlington Coat Factory has already deployed E.piphany's call center software to manage customer requests, in particular over the holiday season.


Onyx wins U.K. government contract

CRM software maker Onyx Software Corp., Bellevue, Wash., reported that it has inked a contract to deploy its applications for the London Borough of Brent. The local government will utilize the CRM system to help make government services more accessible to its residents. The applications will eventually link with back-office information on social services, housing benefits and taxes to build profiles for area citizens.


Be Free and Coremetrics establish partnership

Be Free Inc., Marlborough, Mass., and San Francisco-based Coremetrics Inc. founded a new partnership to co-develop a software module that integrates Be Free's partner marketing service with Coremetrics' eLuminate Commerce analytics offering. Under the partnership, customers using Be Free software to run their marketing operations will be able to bolster the measurement and analysis aspect of the applications using Coremetrics' products.

Interactive Intelligence releases development platform for PDAs

Interactive Intelligence Inc., Indianapolis, a maker of interaction management software, launched its wireless application development platform, called Mobilite. The program was designed to help develop, deploy and maintain applications for personal digital assistants (PDAs). Interactive Intelligence said the software offers the ability to provide companies with a back-end application server and customization tools so wireless users can access databases.

Callidus Software and detail integration agreement

Electronic incentive management software maker, Callidus Software Inc., San Jose, and online CRM applications builder, San Francisco, announced the details of a partnership whereby the two companies will more closely link their products. The firms said the alliance is designed to assist enterprise customers in achieving improved business performance, increased profits and higher productivity. TrueComp, Callidus's variable compensation management system, automates the compensation management process.
