Cti4 Group snaps up Collegiate Technologies

Cherry Hill, N.J.-based contact center specialists cti4 Group Inc. reported that it has acquired Collegiate Technologies Inc., also of Cherry Hill. Cti4 said it will integrate Collegiate's call center business, aimed at universities, into its existing operations. According to the firm, the buyout of Collegiate will allow it to provide colleges and universities with a single source for admissions, development, retention and other priority calling requirements.

Crystal Decisions partners with

Web reporting applications maker Crystal Decisions Inc., Palo Alto, Calif., said it will partner with Net-based decision software maker, Andover, Mass., to help provide packages to small-sized manufacturing and services organizations. Company officials said that under the agreement, has embedded Crystal Reports Server Software within its own family of products. The firms hope that together the applications will enable smaller organizations to easily extract business metrics information from apps4biz applications.

Performix Technologies lands C&W, Scottish Power deals

Burlington, Mass.-based call center software maker Performix Technologies announced that it has signed deals with Glasgow-based Scottish Power and Cable & Wireless, London. With Cable & Wireless, a large telecommunication provider, and energy company Scottish Power, Performix has added four new European customers in the last eight weeks. Other contract wins include, Dublin-based Eircom, Ireland's largest communications company, and euroConex, a European financial services firm.

FrontRange appoints new CEO

Colorado Springs, Colo.-based CRM software vendor FrontRange Solutions Inc. said it has appointed Patrick Bultema as CEO and president. Bultema will succeed Dana Buys, who remains chairman of the board of FrontRange Solutions Inc. and CEO of Ixchange Ltd. Bultema will also join the board of Ixchange.

Sand closes $2 million hospital deal

Sand Technology Inc., Montreal, was awarded a contract in excess of $2 million to construct a health care analytics infrastructure for the Centre de Recherche Clinique and Centre Hospitalier Universitaire de Sherbrooke in Quebec. The deal is part of a multi-center provincial research project coordinated by the McGill University Hospital Center and is supported by an award from the Canadian Foundation for Innovation.
