SAS, Blue Martini Software form global alliance

Cary, N.C.-based SAS Institute and San Mateo, Calif.-based Blue Martini Software Inc. have announced a three-year, global strategic alliance. It will allow organizations to gain deeper insights into their customers and act on those insights across all electronic customer touch points via analytical CRM. Companies will be able to develop a multi-channel view of their customers.

Kalido and Informatica join forces

London-based Kalido Ltd. and Informatica Software Ltd., a subsidiary of Redwood City, Calif.-based Informatica Corporation have signed a memorandum of understanding to form a technology, sales and marketing alliance. Joint customers will have access to integration software with information warehousing. Informatica PowerCenter data integration software provides the capability to consolidate data from various disparate enterprise systems, which can be loaded directly into a Kalido information warehouse.
