Invensys launches new CRM business

Invensys Software Systems, a division of Invensys PLC, has launched a new CRM business to extend the Invensys e-Enterprise software portfolio. The launch of Invensys CRM will provide business-to-business manufacturing, telecommunications and professional services organizations with integrated CRM software and services. It combines the BaanFrontOffice CRM suite with Invensys Software Systems, and Baan will remain a major reseller of Invensys CRM software.

Interelate announces new customer intelligence for retailers

Customer intelligence service provider Interelate has announced new pre-built customer intelligence software to assist retailers in acquiring new customers, understanding existing customers and identifying cross-sell and up-sell opportunities. It can be deployed quickly, allowing retailers with click-and-mortar, brick-and-mortar and catalog channels to avoid the extra expenses associated with internal development.

Innotrac acquires fulfillment and CRM services company

Innotrac Corp. has announced that it has acquired Universal Distribution Services (UDS), which provides integrated order processing, order management, fulfillment and CRM services. The customer base of UDS includes direct marketing companies, retailers and e-tailers, and the acquisition is part of Innotrac's strategy to develop an integrated national footprint in fulfillment, call center and CRM services.

KnowledgeBase Marketing selects Xchange, MicroStrategy for CRM offerings

At the NCDM Conference, Xchange Inc. and MicroStrategy Inc. announced that KnowledgeBase Marketing Inc. had selected their respective software for its Impact CRM suite. Xchange was selected for campaign management software, and MicroStrategy's eCRM 7 was chosen as the backbone of Impact.
