Financial services Internet consulting and solutions company HomeCom Communications, Inc. and Broadbase Software, provider of customer-focused analytic and marketing automation applications, have announced a strategic alliance aimed at providing e-CRM solutions in the financial services industry. LivePerson acquires HumanClick, creating a global market leader in real-time e-CRM solutions for small and mid-sized businesses

LivePerson, Inc., an application service provider (ASP) of technology that enables real-time sales and customer service interaction over the Internet, has acquired Israel-based HumanClick, Ltd., which provides real-time, online customer service applications to more than 100,000 small and mid-sized businesses. The acquisition solidifies LivePerson's position as a global leader in delivering real-time e-CRM solutions via an ASP model to businesses operating online. With over 100,000 customers, HumanClick has significant market share in the small and mid-sized business market with its real-time solution. Through this acquisition, LivePerson solidifies its leadership position in this market, and increases its development presence in Israel's high-growth technology hub.

Blue Martini Software and Seagate Software join forces for best-of-breed e-business solutions

Seagate Software, a leader in eBusiness reporting and analysis, recently announced a strategic alliance with Blue Martini Software, a provider of enterprise software applications that help companies to understand, target and interact with their customers. Blue Martini Software has integrated Seagate Software's web-enabled reporting technologies with its Blue Martini Customer Interaction System to provide customers with enterprise reporting and analysis capabilities including online analytical processing (OLAP) reporting through Crystal Reports.
