Using BDocs for data synchronization in SAP CRM

Read tips for synchronizing, replicating and realigning data in SAP CRM in this expert tip.

What is the difference between BDocs and replication objects in SAP CRM?
BDocs are business documents, which like IDocs are used for synchronization, replication and realignment of data in SAP CRM. A replication object is a specific business object (Ex: customers, materials, sales area data etc.) for which the entire process of data replication logic -- the required BDocs, the data replication rules, the source tables and destination data tables, with data filters provision --is defined.
