It's very difficult to find a standalone order entry system, especially outside the very high end. This is because order entry is usually highly dependent on backend order management, fulfillment, and billing (favoring ERP vendors) or on recommendation and selling to the customer (favoring CRM vendors). CRM solutions with good basic order entry functionality include Microsoft CRM, Siebel, Oracle, and Pivotal. You should also look at the CRM capabilities of your ERP vendor (which may offer order management as part of either CRM or ERP suites), as well as vertical specialty vendors in industries such as retail, telecommunications, and utilities.
